Every year, Hauspoz Euskal Herriko Akordeoi Elkartea organizes the “Francisco Escudero” International Accordion Composition Competition.  The aim of the competition is to promote works for accordion and chamber music groups with accordion. The goal of broadening and recognizing the competition internationally and internationally has been fulfilled, after several editions. In the last edition, the organization received 71 proposals by composers from more than 30 nationalities.
