In 1975, Hauspoz Euskal Herriko Akordeoi Elkartea created the first accordion competition with the purpose of promoting the accordion into the cultural scene. Since then, the work and the help of everyone has led us to create a solid structure. This structure, reflected in a variety of categories, encourages the self-transcendence, and rewards the work of students and teachers. Without any doubt, it is a rich experience for everybody.

  • $ 100 2024
  • The main objective of the Gipuzkoa Festival is to enhance the interest of students of accordion towards the instrument, as well as to give them the opportunity to play for the public. It is a first approach to the instrument for students, without a desire for competitiveness and trying to give a chance to those young people who take their first steps with the accordion. The festival hosts solo and chamber music categories in small and large formats.
